A.H. Hirsch 1974 16 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey
$198.89
A Legendary Bourbon with a Storied History
Widely regarded as one of the finest bourbons ever produced, A.H. Hirsch 1974 16 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a true collector’s gem. This second release carries a rich and complex history, having been distilled in the spring of 1974 and aged to perfection for 16 years.
A Rare and Coveted Expression
Commissioned by Adolph H. Hirsch, this bourbon was distilled under contract at Michter’s Distillery (formerly Pennco) in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania. Originally intended as a financial favor to the distillery, this whiskey spent far longer in barrels than initially planned. Over time, it transformed into one of the most sought-after bourbons in history.
An Iconic Release
As Michter’s Distillery closed in 1989, the remaining barrels were sold off, leading to this legendary release. Bottled and re-released in limited quantities, the A.H. Hirsch 1974 16 Year remains an unparalleled piece of bourbon history.
