Chartreuse Yellow Liqueur

Chartreuse Yellow is an extra-aged edition of the herbal favorite Chartreuse. The VEP stands for Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé, meaning “exceptionally prolonged aging”, which in this case translates to at least eight years. Milder and sweeter than the legendary green version, this limited edition French liqueur is made by Carthusian monks from a heavily guarded recipe. It’s produced with 130 herbs, plants, and flavors, macerated in alcohol, and steeped for eight hours, with extra-long aging in oak vats to add depth. Each bottle is identified by number, stopped with a wax-sealed cork, and presented in a wooden box.
