Aged for 6 years and 2 months in new white oak #4 char barrels to a matured barrel strength of 129 proof, this elegant quaff was originally distilled in Spring 2014 and released in Fall 2020. Composed of a mash bill of Minnesota rye, distiller grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn, and malted barley from N. Dakota, 2020 Thomas H. Handy Sazerac whiskey has an aroma of brown sugar, baking spices, and mint-soaked vanilla. The palate is hotly hued with spice, cinnamon, and ginger over citrus zest and licorice.
